Alyssa is a passionate yoga teacher eager to support students of all levels on their yoga journey. As an active runner who completed two San Francisco Marathons, she found yoga while trying to heal from chronic running injuries and to find a deeper connection to her breath. With a desire to help students find a sustainable practice, she focuses her classes on maintaining alignment and using the breath as a barometer to find each body’s edge. She enjoys teaching vinyasa classes that connect the body with the mind to assist students in developing a sense of ease and stillness on (and off) the mat.
Alyssa completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Yoga Garden San Francisco. Her teachers, including Rebecca Mayne, Stacey Swan, Max Kopiekin, Karen Macklin, and Christie Rafanan, brought unique perspectives on Iyengar, Hatha, and Vinyasa yoga to influence her powerful, alignment based, vinyasa classes.
