MOVEMENT SPECIALISTS JOB REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing scientific exercise programs.

  • Coaching small group and 1:1 personal training sessions.

    • Creating planned progressions that create specific adaptations based on the client/athletes goals/needs.

    • Must be able to display flexibility within the program and re-assess as needed.

  • Managing and growing clientele through retention, referrals, and reviews.

    • Included but not limited to: keeping track of sessions serviced, client logs, updates on client programs, and more.

    • Consistent scheduling of client sessions.

    • Scheduling errors and tardiness to a minimum.

    • Maintaining and retaining clients measured by monthly renewals.

    • Constantly seeking opportunities to grow clientele.

  • Maintaining organization and cleanliness of space.

  • Being a brand ambassador for P4L and its values.

 

Applicant Requirements:

  • Currently has or is pursuing a degree in kinesiology, exercise science, or related field.

    • Additionally, all movement specialists pursue continued education on a quarterly basis.

  • Knowledge of multiple assessment protocols.

    • Movement specialists will refer to methods used in FMS, SFMA, CHEK, and other pertinent assessment protocols in order to thoroughly assess client alignment and movement.

    • Must be able to assess independently.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills.

  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.  

  • Self-learner and knowledge-seeker.

 

Nice to Haves:

  • Understanding of Google Suite and social media.

  • Writing skills will be especially helpful in crafting our lifestyle blogs.
