I love working with athletes. If you can learn from and rehabilitate an injury back to high performance, you can easily help those afflicted with the bumps and bruises of day to day life. My methods are very hands on and demand that we examine and assess each individual before making any treatment or exercise recommendations. It's all about leading people in how to use their body appropriately when it comes to managing and avoiding injury, increasing performance, and sustainability of their life.
I started working with athletes on day one in student clinic with the Life University Rugby Team in Atlanta, GA. As my love for crossFit grew, so did my populations of crossFit athletes who trained for health or to compete in Birmingham, AL. As I entered San Francisco, I saw rugby return to my life working with the BA Baracus Rugby Club in 2016 and Life University West Rugby in 2017. I was fortunate to work with AVP first U16 and U18 divisions in 2017 and to help educate these young women on injury prevention and sports performance with chiropractic.
My personal fitness journey began when I was 4 years of age and began studying ballet. It stuck and as I grew up I studied various forms of dance and went on to join the Macomb Ballet Company which proved to be an excellent lesson in discipline. In grad school, I found my way on to the Life University Dance Team before transitioning into powerlifting and crossFit. San Francisco put me in touch with an amazing Olympic Lifting community and I competed in my first Olympic Meet in 2017 at Speed, Power, Strength in Oakland, CA. I am excited to see what 2018 has in store.
Movement is all around us. Done inappropriately, it can lead to degeneration, injury, and depression. It's all about leading people to how to use their body appropriately when it comes to managing and avoiding injury, increasing performance, and ultimately the sustainability of your life.

"Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death." - Anaïs Nin
